A perfect location

Agii Apostoli is at a distance of 4 km from Chania city, 14 km from Chania International Airport and 9 km from the Port of Souda. It is a beautiful coastal village, which took its name by the small church of “Agii Apostoloi” (Saint Apostles) that stands on an elevated point on top of the magnificent beaches.

There are four distinct beaches in Agii Apostoli, each one in its own small bay. The beaches have clear and relatively shallow waters, suitable for families with children, and excellent fine sand. They have an orientation that protects them from occasional winds on the north coast of Crete.

The glamor of Chania is completely justified by the plethora of attractions they offer and the long history they testify. It is considered the most picturesque city of Crete thanks to the Venetian port with the lighthouse and the old town that they maintain and generally remain unforgettable in the minds of their visitors.

Visit the fortress of Firkas and the lighthouse, the church of Agios Nikolaos but also the Giali Mosque, the Archaeological and the Naval Museum, the place where the ruins of ancient Kydonia are located, take a walk in the historic municipal market, but mainly feel it pulse of Chania in the alleys of the old town and in your contact with the local Cretan hospitality. In the wider prefecture there are beaches of world renown (Elafonissi, Balos, Falasarna), a multitude of gorges, with the most famous being that of Samaria and countless picturesque villages. Cretan cuisine is at its best and the locals are waiting to host you in their own unique way.

Balos lagoon is a heaven on earth of turquoise waters, pink-tinged white sands and wild, exotic beauty. Located at 17 km northwest of Kissamos, between the Gramvousa Cape and small rocky peninsula of Tigani, which connects with the rest of Crete via a thin strip of land, thus forming the famous Balos lagoon. Its southwest side is open to sea and forms a natural harbour, protected by winds due to the islet of Imeri Gramvousa across from it.

The seaside village of Agia Marina and its homonymous beach is an ideal holiday destination for everyone. Its waters are shallow and its sand is golden along its entire length. It has numerous tourist units and has a well-organized infrastructure to serve its visitors. It is no coincidence that it is one of the most famous resorts in Chania.

Organized beach bars, taverns, restaurants, water sports exist along the coast. It is the right place to do jet skiing, paragliding, water skiing or cycling. Alternatively enjoy the sea view, with the island of Agios Theodoros in the background, where the protected ibex Kri-Kri live. There are also numerous cafe-bars and clubs that star in the nightlife of the area, which is very intense until dawn. Visit Nerospilia located in Ano Agia Marina to admire the stalactites and stalagmites up close.
